Over the years I’ve owned loads of good domains , all with a really good idea behind them , only three made money , only one paid the bills for 20 years. I had to build and market the business myself , takes blood sweat and tears , starting at 5am finishing at midnight for years…. It was a dream, if it’s yours you will succeed 💜

Make a plan. Write it up. Get used to selling it to yourself. You need to be completely coherent untouchable and have the balls of a lion if you want someone to part with cash based on a conversation.

On one Yes , I sold 50% of a business that was just an idea, he provided the back office staff , liquidity etc, it enabled me to work on my dream. It didn’t work out in the end. The one that worked I literally studied my arse off for years, scraped by , didn’t know if I’d be able to feed my kids some months, it was hard and horrible , but I just couldn’t shake it … then boom. The orders started coming. Scary shit … only for the headstrong
