If you are above the age of thirty and are still a leftist, you are most likely A) Just pretending to believe in leftism as a path to power. Or, B) Deceived by the attractiveness of comforting lies over hard truths. Or, C) Uncurious and haven’t read a book since college.

It’s not about being right-wing. It’s about being right (ie. Accepting reality).

I'm afraid to say but it's most likely a combination of A, B and C.

Yes.

D) have a “job” within leftist structures.

E) believe leftism will give you handouts.

I’d consider those part of “A”

I respectfully disagree, because I believe A) has a different character. He wants the power at all cost, he builds up the secret police, he sends people to prison etc, whereas D) makes a living within the system. He is more of a coward. He rationalises when they throw his neighbour in jail and believes that there most be a “reason” for it.

E) doesn’t care about anything, he just wants free stuff.

Fair nuance.

Weirdest thing is that most people I know are pretending to be on the economic right, but fight with all their power for the left.

They don't understand a thing.
