Seriously, is it just me or is software quality getting worse? It is now, buggier and slower. What is going on? š¤

Companies are phasing out costly experienced devs and using bootcamp cadets with zero direction. Recently worked with one of those that was taught to never bother checking or testing their code and to just commit it to be passed on to QA developers that will correct any issues. So they are basically never going to learn from their own mistakes since they don't even realize they've made any.
This not only makes no sense. It costs serious dollars. So you pay JR devs to be creative and make mistakes and pay sr devs to be bored to death and correct those mistakes?
"new generation" of programmers have no idea about hw.
That's the sad reality, I mean look at Windows 11, that thing is in dire need of some optmizations, my laptop is no powerhouse but no weakass either, yet while using it with windows 11 the cooler stays on almost the whole time, it gets specially crazy when I try to run anything slightly more demanding. I also have Linux with KDE plasma on dual boot full of fancy graphical effects, transparencies and whatnot yet I rarely hear the cooler there, usually only when I have like 2 virtual machines running at once, the difference is quite insane. Things are worse when we go to the web, some fairly simple websites stack so many libraries and frameworks together that they end up having 5x the size they should and infested with bugs and security flaws.
