Unfortunately it isnt that simple.

Nostr is nothing without multiple relays.

Those relays also have legal exposure and requirements.

You running your own client and relay alone is not a network.

Also, clients and relays need to be sustainable as products, or they wont exist or improve. Businesses have to follow laws.
