I have to go to a bridal shower this weekend, and I'm really not looking forward to it. Does that make me a terrible person? The couple are already living together, so I dont see the point of it. What could they possibly need for their home that they dont already have? In my opinion, bridal showers are for a couple just starting out, who have nothing for their home yet. Anyway, just venting here. If I'm way off base, someone tell me. #grownostr

Not a terrible person at all. I had one which I only wanted for my closest friends but, it turned into SO much more than that. It was an uncomfortable situation for me. Could it be the same for this person? 🤷‍♀️ Regardless, not a terrible person

I dont think that's her situation, she sent out invitations and the whole bit, and we had to rsvp. And she has a gift registry set up, so the expectation is that we're supposed to buy something. Oh well.
