I understand that currently Damus doesn’t validate all events to save compute. Could we make that configurable? For example with options to validate random notes, only those from subscribed npubs, or every note.

A relay could send invalid events from whoever they wanted saying whatever they wanted.

Next I’ll probably work on a manual option for verification to validate from the long press menu to ensure an individual note is correct.
