The bioenergetic community is not known for "exercising a ton".

The reason our body can tolerate higher carbohydrate intake comes down to (A) metabolic optimization, (B) gut health, (C) reduction of stress, and (D) a commensurate reduction of fat intake.

I can't think of a single peat influencer who pushes the CICO model of "calorie is a calorie" nor the idea that carbs have to be burnt off with exercise.

You should research the space a bit more in order to make a credible argument.
