Easy setup payment site:

1.) You get a lightning wallet in any way. (Custodial, non-custodial)

2.) Site generates you on the fly invoices for your wallet.

3.) You can embed the generated invoice as an iframe to your website.

4.) Payer can pay with 2-clicks with wallet apps, wallet extensions, QR code.

(Fully non-custodial solution, as you provide the wallet)

How stupid is it?

Like BTCPay server you mean?

Yes, something similar.

But without connecting it directly to a lightning source with special rights.

I am not sure if btcpay server works with custodial wallets.

And you don't need to host anything if you don't want.

Check out OpenNode. Though beware they require KYC I think.

I actually created a website that almost does what I have described, but funnily was created for something else. (Without KYC.)
