ooooh that sounds amazing. One of my projects this fall was planting cold-hardy pomegranates. Crossing my fingers that they make it through their first winter.
When you get land, let's start a Nostr cuttings exchange. Soon I'll be able to share elderberry, mulberry, various kinds of figs, American persimmon and hopefully some currants and aronia.

Are your American persimmons wild gathered or are they cultivars?
Curious about the fruit qualities of the cultivars. Wild ones have so much variability, itβs really interesting.
Unfortunately, my favorite tree died before I could get a successful cutting or graft. It was a rude shock to me; I had visited her for years. βColleenβ had absolutely exquisite fruit I havenβt found the like of since (though I do love all wild persimmon fruit).
