Are your American persimmons wild gathered or are they cultivars?

Curious about the fruit qualities of the cultivars. Wild ones have so much variability, it’s really interesting.

Unfortunately, my favorite tree died before I could get a successful cutting or graft. It was a rude shock to me; I had visited her for years. “Colleen” had absolutely exquisite fruit I haven’t found the like of since (though I do love all wild persimmon fruit).
