I am having to go back to banking instead of using strike for bill pay.
My rent bounced and so did my power bill.
Now I have to deliver payment in person via cash at the power company and probably via check for my rent.

It was a good 4 month run of living on credit to pay off in bitcoin through bill pay.
To be fair, it was smooth sailing until now.
Oh well.
What has changed?
I have to use a bank account instead of strike for bill payment. It's not the most drastic change, considering strike is acting as the bank providing ach transfers to account routing and acct numbers for clients.
What about having the amount sent to your bank account before the transaction? Is the tax liability why this won't work?
It will work. I just don't like holding fiat any longer than I have to. I'd rather park it in bitcoin. I guess in a down market you wouldn't want to because you would be stair stepping down and having to top up your balance. But I'd even be willing to do that tbh.
Yeah. This is exactly what I do. Send the funds 1/2 days ahead of the purchase/transaction
It's easy for a hnw person to live off of credit, it's all designed for them
It's not designed to work for plebs
Maybe worth having fold on hand as a backup option?
I try to only keep the amount i have to pay in bills on the exchange.

Strike as a bill pay service works great. You juts have to keep in mind bitcoin conformation times and deadlines.
Its something I overlooked and certainly doesn't reflect badly on the company itself.
Overall I am very satisfied with Strike. It's my daily driver when it comes to exchanges.
No fault here.
There is opporunity for Strike product improvement in helping the customer solve their job to be done.
