A tiger, a monkey and a banana must be ferried to the other side of a river.

You have a small boat, which is not large enough to take more than one of them.

If you leave the tiger with the monkey, the tiger will eat the monkey.

If you leave the monkey with the banana, the monkey will eat the banana.

How do you get all 3 across the river?

Take the monkey over, go back and get the banana, take the banana over, but pick up the monkey and take him back, then take the Tiger over, drop him off with the banana, go back and get your monkey, and all three are on the other side with no fatalities or conflicts
