Albertans from my experience are willing to fight for freedom and sovereignty. Ask your average Canadian about freedom and you'll get a contrived answer followed by an apology to make sure you still see them as being "nice".

Nice is a racket. It's a fake behavior meant to deflect controversy. Kindness on the other hand is quality we can all embrace. They are not one in the same. Kindness is an intentional gesture toward a fellow human. Being nice, is a reflection of one's ego, "I hope they think I'm a nice person". Canada is filled with NICE people .
