The nebula has bilateral symmetry that starts from a more central point, just like the wings of a butterfly, although the nebula most likely has a 3D shape closer to an hourglass.
But I believe that the video does not intend to be so minimalist, just to show that different objects can meet some similar patterns.
It’s as much a pattern as the portrait of Jesus in toasted bread.
And sometimes it really is a pattern, it just doesn't imply correlation...
It just indicates that different phenomena, even if one is 2D and the other 3D, can exhibit similar symmetries, but of course, in some cases it is more a question of pareindolia, apophenia or other illusion.
This doesn't take away from the fact that nature has the tendency to repeat branches, spheres, spirals and other analogous shapes...
