The rules are clear:

- You are in charge of your key. Your key is your identity. Guard it.

- Anything you do is VERY PUBLIC and VERY PERMANENT.

- You can DM someone with encryption, but if their key gets compromised, whatever you said is also compromised. Same for messages sent to you, if your key is compromised.

I guess the lesson from all of this is don't rely on PMs staying private forever, don't post shit you don't want getting leaked :blobcatgooglyshrug:

Nostr does have some good points, but also bloat and soy faggotry so I want to use AP for my project.

Maybe eliminating DMs would just make things easier perhaps?
