We are trapped in a cage. We didn't build the cage, but it's where our lives have been for years, decades, even centuries. We can see outside the cage if we choose to look, but we are discouraged from looking. When we dare to look in spite of the warnings, we can see that there are people outside the cage. Those people seem to be busy, living their lives, making things, building things, buying and selling things. They even seem happy to not be in a cage. There's a doorway from inside the cage to the outside, and there's a threshold that we have to step over. Seems to be a high step, but others have made the step.
Should we step out of the cage? Or just ignore what we see and settle for what we are given?
