There were attempts to use the drug to treat other things, but without a respiratoy virus to provide cover for the symptoms of kidney failure the danger was recognized & use was halted. The danger & ineffectiveness were known. Fauci got paid every time the drug was administered, hospitals got paid to administer it, & then they got paid more when patients died. Tax payers were forced to fund both the creation of a contagious bioweapon & their own subsequent poisoning as "treatment."
