When you do order an unlocked phone straight from google. Sometimes a carrier locked phone won't allow access to OEM settings

Oh dear, sounds like there is a minefield learning curve. What OEM is? Lemme guess…Operation Electronic Motherboard ?

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer.

And, not a minefield at all. Using a non-vendor locked phone is the way to go. Google releases pure Android on their platforms without 3rd party garbo.

Ever used a Samsung phone out of the box? It's all shit.
