Installed Asahi Linux on my MacBook PRO M2 has been a great experience! It’s an incredible feat the team behind that distro have done! 💪
My only issue is not regarding Asahi, but Linux itself. Coming from MacOSX certain keybindings and shortcuts simply doesn’t exists on Linux, or is possible without any extensive hacks!
One such thing it the difference between COMMAND and CTRL keybindings on MacOSX. CMD doesn’t exists as a thing in Linux, but when working in a terminal the usecases between CMD and CTRL feels huge. CTRL works as expected on MacOSX but CMD adds another level of copy+paste etc.
But using Gnome Tweaks and switching key bindings I’ve come a long way and it’s now feels «native» to my as I’m used too.
I figure it won’t take long now until MacOSX feels strange and not the other way around ッ
