I’ve been building a solution for tracking and monitoring all your physical computers the last months. It’s nearing its first stable release.
Looking forward to it.
Using AI to build tests on the code it just made for me.

As I’m waiting for my AI agent in VSCode finishing its task (which is the modern waiting for my Linux kernel på compile meme), I’m sitting here thinking. Am I only a servant for my AI. The monkey that presses continue, allow or skip.
While the agent executes its command and changes I’m glued to the screen. Occupied, waiting for the AI to command ME for attention and actions. Surreal.
Walked by a elementary school today. On a digital whiteboard stood the text in bold black - count to 100.
Must have been an amazing experience for the young kids.
Digitizing everything should not be the goal. Even though it has brought the world closer and every corner of the world in reach, it’s somehow also extremely alienating. It’s too pixel perfect. Cold. Void.
Instead of the teacher writing this on an old blackboard while creating engagement from the class, the teacher now can sit down and show a premade PowerPoint presentation. And we all love PowerPoint presentation don’t we?
If feel sad for today’s youth experiencing the world in such a distant and fabricated moment.
This is a friendly reminder that your DNS queries are not encrypted but exposed. Enable DNS over HTTPS or DNS over TLS today!
And VPN is not necessary your safe haven for digital anonymity!
One day until EU will vote to possible end all digital privacy.
This is not about security or protecting children! Criminals will always find other means of communication. This will impact every innocent citizen of the EU, and partners of EU such as Norway.
It’s a start. But still illegal to not report these holdings to the Norwegian government ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well. We are required to list all our crypto assets to the government. So trying to take it abroad isn’t as easy as just buying more crypto with fiat and leave.
As everything in life. If it’s digital then it’s not yours. It’s just a license to utilize that asset. Movies, games and now your own money.
The problem is that most citizen in Norway trust the government and that everything they’ll do is in your best interest. I did too, once.
We don’t have CBDC directly, but we’re as a society is primed for the day that launches. No one in Norway uses cash anymore, some stores even don’t have registers even though they required by law to support cash.
Everything is digital, from purchases to doctors appointments.
For Norwegian that transition should be swift, and in most cases welcomed.
Installed Asahi Linux on my MacBook PRO M2 has been a great experience! It’s an incredible feat the team behind that distro have done! 💪
My only issue is not regarding Asahi, but Linux itself. Coming from MacOSX certain keybindings and shortcuts simply doesn’t exists on Linux, or is possible without any extensive hacks!
One such thing it the difference between COMMAND and CTRL keybindings on MacOSX. CMD doesn’t exists as a thing in Linux, but when working in a terminal the usecases between CMD and CTRL feels huge. CTRL works as expected on MacOSX but CMD adds another level of copy+paste etc.
But using Gnome Tweaks and switching key bindings I’ve come a long way and it’s now feels «native» to my as I’m used too.
I figure it won’t take long now until MacOSX feels strange and not the other way around ッ
Build my first Minecraft plugin yesterday 🤩
It’s a tombstone plugin marking each players death, date and cause.
There exists many similar plugins, but non worked as expected with my server setup. So I just made my own.
So now when we wander in the world we can follow in the trails of other players, witnessing their fight for survival.
And perhaps you’ll come upon a battlefield littered with tombstones where players have fought intensely for resources or mobs!
And for those lava divers, the tombstone stands as a shameful totem of their failures 😝
Strange. Its should be a small time fee on may public toaletts. Haven’t heard of any that’s free and require a card.
Its a lot of digital control in Norway. In the last years we’ve seen an amazing digital infrastructure here. We are perhaps one of the most digital developed country in the world. I can live 100% digital.
For the regular citizen this makes everyday life easier, and information is with you in your pockets at all time.
But the downside is more digital control and surveillance, and a society that accepts to be digitally tracked at all time. Because until now, we’ve actually benefited from this digitalization as a citizen.
Nice to know that it was possible. I can’t remember but I don’t think I had to provide any biometrics.
Good to know that it’s possible to resist this nonsense.

We have digital ID in Norway. Not long ago every Norwegian citizen was forced to physically show their identification to the banks to make sure their digital ID matches. If you didn’t comply they would freeze your assets and in long run terminate them!
This ID is linked to every official agency in Norway, making your citizenship a burden if you didn’t comply.
It was a EU regulation brought on to us. With the basis that this was to fight money laundering and illegal activities.
Made a Minecraft dashboard using the new 1.21.9 websocket admin port.
It lists events such as player join and quick.
Also fetches their avatar for a nicer view.
I believe that EU will impose a mandatory on device AI compliance model. When all these online platforms conforms to their requirements for digital ID, we will witness a surge in private anonymous apps. Which EU can’t control.
They forced apple to open up their App Store model, and soon iPhone might come preinstalled with the EU AppStore where only EU compliant apps are allowed to be.
Digital ID apps won’t work without an official phone. So you can’t access your online bank or other critical services.
From where we stand today, this path is not unreal.
The algorithm is what stand out to me. I’ve been using nostr for a while now but finding good content is difficult if not impossible. The tech space is filled with bitcoin bros. And other notes are hard to find. How do I know what I want to view? 😂
This is my thoughts on why Steam currently have got a lot of heat from Mastercard and Visa.
Not long ago steamdeck proved to be faster than Windows when running on the same hardware. And this is a threat against the direction for Microsoft.
Microsoft is quitting selling games. They want us to subscribe to their services. They want us to be trapped in an endless subscription service. Buying games is not the future for them.
Steam is a competition to this. Steam has their own store and promote «buying» games. Steam is not build for Microsoft subscription services. And hopefully it never will be.
It’s not just Microsoft. But EA, Ubisoft and all others. They are moving to subscription services to control what we can play and when.
Steam can’t be allowed to exists in this «new» way of earning money.
So now they hunt Steam. They proved that building their own OS to get away from Microsoft actually work. Steam works. But not the way they want it to work.
So now Steam needs to know who’s the real king in the gaming market.
What do you think?
I find that the agentic approach as seen in cursor or vscode copilot is a step in this direction.
I like to compare LLM «intelligence» with how we humans approach knowledge and experience. And that is with general knowledge and capabilities.
One example I use is: school has thought us that the earth is round and with a introduction to the math and physics around this. We know this for a fact, but if I where to submit proof of this statement today I don’t have the knowledge to do so. But I have the capabilities and understanding to, given correct context argue for it.
The same applies to LLM ( I believe). As long as they are capable to retrieve correct data for any given task and reject the wrong ones, LLM are then capable to achieve most tasks, not on their own, but using tools. The same way humans use calculators and other tools, the same can be applied to LLMs.
True. We have setup an entire devops around developers because of this. Hehe.
But that is where agentic AI becomes important. It won’t just write code, but also testing, microbenchmark etc… and introducing more context length and documentation their capabilities will surpass most developers fairly soon.
First it will devastate the junior positions.
Then we’ll see an incredible increase in productivity from those who are good at coding. Which will require more developer positions.
Then it’ll be so mature and good that it’ll replace most developers.
I truly believe this, and it is something I’m preparing myself for.
I need my daily brain rot and endless scrolling!
I think that AI will empower the state. Just look at Palantir and how EU will strengthen their hold on AI and how it’s used.
In Norway the government founded companies are encouraged to use 80% AI, whatever that means. In reality that pushes our public sector to use US companies such as Copilot or ChatGPT, sending all our data out of our sovereignty and control.
AI will also be used in propaganda, we are now in the situation that it is impossible to verify if a content is AI generated or not. Images, videos and bots will be extensively used to alter the public perception of current events.
I need a list of people to follow on Nostr….
Bitcoin is heavily regulated in Norway. You have to sign in with government ID to convert fiat to crypto. You also have to report on your holdings.
I miss the old sentiment of crypto coins, the basis for freedom and complete ownership over your own assets is critical. Especially during these times.

This is one of the best features. Forks, stars and interaction. It’s always good to get a track of how maintained a repo is based on the feedback and interaction between the developers and users.
