Very disturbed by reports that Chinese HRD & lawyer #LuSiwei was arrested in #Laos today as he boarded a train to Bangkok to fly to the US & reunite with his family. The Laotian authorities must immediately disclose his whereabouts & release him.

Further report says #ChineseLawyer Mr #LuSiwei was arrested by Lao police because he was listed as being restricted from leaving the country (China). According to International law, Chinese jurisdiction is limited to China, but de facto executions have been extended far beyond the borders.
Chinese diplomats are waiting outside of the immigration detention center near the international airport, which indicates his imminent deportation to #China by Laos government.
His wife and daughter fled to the U.S. last year.

Laotian police was said to be holding Lu on suspicion of “using fraudulent travel documents” while entering Laos. In fact,he had valid visas to Laos and the USA, though he was barred from leaving China.
卢思位被抓的原因是“入境老挝时使用了伪造的旅行证件”，实际上，他有老挝和美国的有效签证，只不过他在中国被边控了。
