It's one of my favorite features. I look forward to the next version of #Amethyst. It's still the best client in the #Nostrsphere by far, and it has rarely let me down.

I really like the no compression, I don't like compressing my images because it lowers the quality. I think some image hosts are compressing the images so I host my own images

I like #amethyst comment thread esp when there are 50+ comments are involved. but I noticed, I struggle to filter content by topics unless people are using hashtag and my notifications are out of whack lately 😔

Are notifications not showing up? Or what do you mean by out of whack? Push Notifications or notifications in the 5th tab in the app?
the bell icon on the bottom right. some notifications do not show on some occassions that I have to go to other clients to view it. when I come back the next day, it then appears. I am not sure if it is a delay. I did clear cache, restart and login log off to start fresh. 😔
Hum.. So, those come straight from your public inbox relays, which I see 2 of them require web of trust. Have you noticed if the notifications you cannot see are coming from people that can post in those relays?
I will do some research with your npub to see if I can see the issue as well
ty for looking into it. Even this notification from your response came from Primal and not amethyst. I even refresh it in amethyst and none. So I get a delay esp if I am actively engaging with people.
As for your questions: web of trust or wehther they can write on those relay, I do not know. I do not specifically track nor observe who can write on which relay. 😔
another weird thing, this note has 100+ replies but on my amehtyst it has none even if I click the message icon to check the replies. I only knew the replies when looking at it in primal. 😬
Interesting. Do you have the default Privacy options? Meaning is Tor enabled? How many relays are you usually connecting to?
My privacy swttings have not changed nor did I recall tinkering on it when I refresh and log-out login.
As for relays I only have 3-4 relays each for public outbox, inbox, search & dms. 😔
Btw, this entire convo that we have now has not yet appeared on my amethyst client.

Very interesting. Try to select the default option in the first item there, it will activate Tor for other relays. Then on the left side drawer you should see the app trying to connect to hundreds of relays.
I changed the tor privacy "tor default" and it automatically force "untrusted relay" to connect. But I still haven't seen this convo of ours in amethyst 😔
