On mutiny i have 11k sats on-chain from an unwanted force close and 5k sats on my side in my remaining channel. Also, for weeks now, every time i make an invoice to shift the liquidity back to my side for a decent utxo, it fails to create an invoice. So this is pretty shitty. I’ve restored the wallet in a new instance and it still can’t make an invoice. Any suggestions 🥴

Close the channel and then send the 11k already on chain plus remainder of 5k to an on chain wallet?
Yeah. That’s just a rather indecent utxo so i’m hoping there’s a better way
You want to send it all over lightning? Even the 11k on chain? You would have to create another channel? Whats the fee for that on mutiny? On zeus its 10k
No no, i wanna pull the plug on this wallet. I would love to make a new channel but the way you do it is by making an invoice which i can’t do. So my desired but seems to be impossible goal, is to just receive sats via lightning and then close the existing channel (but with more than 5k. Like a few 100k) and then sweep it all out to somewhere else on-chain
I can’t think of a better way. At least on chain fees are low right now.
who is the lsp/peer of the channel?
Via admin page it appears LSP is 0conf.lnolymp.us and i think peer is voltage flow 2.0
Idk what i can do with this info though
Lightning network is flawed, yes it’s fast, but you need to connect to your own or someone’s node, there has to be a node running somewhere, and if you don’t own that node then there is third part risk, closing channels etc
Or you can connect to Alby, but then you have to dox yourself by giving your email/phone number, to connect. Also you can’t even connect to Alby unless you have an invite link/code, wtf! Why?
Alby is so obviously not looking to promote/build freedom tools, it’s just another corporation being a data honey pot for government
Bitcoin is supposed to be open to everyone, easy to use, easy to get up and running, and cheap to set up, not having to run your own node
Lightning is to complicated to get up and running for the average person, it’s a dead end
