People who don't like #cats are usually the sort of people who try to play mean "funny" tricks on their animals, and then they don't understand why they get randomly attacked or their stuff gets pissed on. Cats remember & get even.

Hard not to respect that, IMO.

yeah, in australia the magpies are notorious for dive bombing people... and i saw why one time, dumbass postman flicking rubber bands at the bird, and then wondering why it swooped him and this bird got so mad it started attacking everyone on bicycles

I find it hard to believe house cats weaponize their urine in vindictive ways.

Dogs also have no problem remembering someone who treated them poorly.

I like cats but I prefer dogs

Cats tolerate human presence in exchange for food. Dogs are actually social

Cats love people, they just think they are better than everyone, which I find amusing. Dog energy wears me out, it's like being around aggressively extroveted people who always want to go do something, or to know what you are doing.
