This is my first Nostr Post ! Downloaded #plebstr and onboarding is really easy ! Great ! I don't really understand though the #bitcoin connection, #Nostr in itself is not connected to Bitcoin at all !?

Welcome! Nostr was built primarily by bitcoiners. Most nostr clients allow you to zap posts with lightning payments.
If you set up a lightning address with your account I'll be able to tip your posts with bitcoin 🤙
Sorry more of a #Ethereum guy, but each to their own ! #Nano would be great for micropayments too though !
Nostr is decentralized social communication and Bitcoin is decentralized money. They go hand in hand. Plus, we're using Bitcoin to build a value for value economy here on Nostr.
