If you already have large capital you can invest in bitcoin. If you own only 1k usd you're not gonna make it with bitcoin, you have to take more risks... investing in some obscure altcoin with strong fundamentals.

This is NGMI mentality.
Bitcoin will grow forever. If you don’t plan on adding value to the world for your lifetime, then go ahead and try and get lucky with alts.
Of course Bitcoin will grow forever, but if you have $1000 usd and want to make $100000 you need a 40 trillion marketcap, that's not gonna happen overnight, maybe in 20 years. Now if you have 100000 and want to take it to 200000 $BTC is the safest choice.
