The real world has gotten so strange that writing fiction almost feels more serious at this point.

About half of the macro stuff is on autopilot anyway, because nothing stops that train.

#GM Lyn I’m having a bit of trouble with these weird drones and trying to figure that out God only knows what the rest of the nonsense is. It’s a cartoon for sure

Play is a serious undertaking! Especially as an adult. 🤠

only half?

if you read George Friedman and Sarah Paine you might think it's a lot more than half

try history/*))))))hearsay it needs a rewrite - idk -/*****/flow(*_*)

Memory holing is an issue. We need some kind of wikipedia style chronology of all these "stranger than fiction" events. Honestly it's hard to keep track of.

Lyn whats your take on XMR? Will dark web popularity ever turn into macro popularity?

We're in the middle of Heinlein's "Crazy Years" and have been since August of 1945 when those A-bombs got dropped on Japan. And it's always worth noting that the thing that ended the Crazy Years was the election of Nehemiah Scudder. Heinlein didn't write much about Scudder, but I suspect he'd be what you get if Donald Trump and Jerry Falwell made a baby.

Many have thought fiction more powerful than non-fiction for changing human understanding at scale. Of course creating fiction in such bizarre times with the unbelievable commonplace is not easy.
