You got that right! How do you make yours? Stove top, slow cooker, copper pot in the yard?

Stove top. slow cooker would be much easier probably but I don’t do it enough know how long to leave it in. On the stove I keep a much closer eye on the consistency and stirring.

Long ago we used to bake apples with butter and spices in the core and they were amazing

Made baked apples a couple weeks ago!

I use a slow cooker. I set it for 8 hours then keep checking on it. I let it cook down about half then add any cinnamon, sweetener or whatever. Then set it for another round. Obviously takes longer but I can do other things.
