One thing I think Nostr has which may give it an ‘unfair advantage’ over Twitter et al is that it’s open. Just like ₿itcoin, you could build what you like on top of it. You can’t build what you like on Twitter. So with that “citizen journalism” I think of people are motivated enough, they can build their little communities using the protocol as opposed to being told what they can and card do by Twitter.
