How are you coming up with that number?

Out of 100 people you know in daily life. How many save most of their wealth in Bitcoin?

Also there are 150 million non-zero wallets and if each wallet was saving in Bitcoin as a store of value that would only be 1.5% adoption. That’s not what all of those wallets are doing, I’d say .05% might even be too much

2.

I would say that if you asked someone who wasn’t in the Bitcoin community they would say zero

I mean, if you ask someone in Japan how many people they know that are saving in dollars, i bet that number would be close to zero also. Probably not the best way gauge that, but point taken.

So… .05 is a guesstimate. Fair enough. Just wondering if there if there was an actual method to that math.

Yep it’s a guesstimate. It has to be lower than 1.5% because we know all 150 million wallets are not saving in Bitcoin. Those 150 million wallets are every wallet that ever existed going back to 2009 so many could have been old wallets that no longer are used.
