The fundamental reason I never trade #Bitcoin is (A) gambling is a sinful, dishonest venture and (B) I believe we are somewhere in the middle, approaching the end of the logarithmic adoption S curve; as things begin to steepen towards hyperbitcoinization, all the predictive heuristics and models turn to mush.

Not taking some profit off the table and reinvesting on downturns is not very rational. Investing on belief alone is seldom profitable.

History is littered with salty people selling some to buy back later who missed it.
Doesn't really make sense either. You have to sell the absolute top, and buy the absolute bottom on a 20% pullback, just to break even on taxes 😂
How you figure? It goes up from where you bought it. Sell maybe 10%. When it goes down again buy more with proceeds from what you sold. Rinse and repeat. You end up with a lot more sats.
How much 'up' and how far 'down' is the killer.
It is a fact, most people that try it end up with less than they started with.
The people who are doing the best are those that just accumulate.
Investing in USD by selling your sats on belief alone is not rational, and is becoming increasingly irrational.
