Before this you had manually copy a note ID and tag it in your post.

Yea this update now gives the option when you hit the repost button. Game changer. I imagine other clients will follow.
Why have I never see a quote note then ? Does amethyst not tag the user ?
Hmm. It does not. It only notifies if it's a standard boost. Tracking the HFSP chain earlier was super hard to track because of the lack of notifications.
