Can someone explain to me why anyone would film themselves crying? Like, they think "I'm gonna cry and meltdown" then they realize the doom scrolling black mirror in front of them can record it. So they set up said device and press record. Then they freak out. Then, I guess, they review said meltdown. I don't know, but do they question the decision to publish or do they just publish? What is the aim? Is it to "go viral"? Is it to find support? To find kindred spirits? These are people not freaking out in public but doing so privately and then making it public themselves. It's weird. It's some perverse exhibitionism. Is it the need for approval of said freakout to give them dopamine hits?
