Automatically. Either to spam people's attention for fun or to promote WoT filtering, which is the only real solution.
And we will rue the day when an npub with an established reputations starts carrying out these attacks, bypassing WoT, but also jeopardizing their own reputation in the process.

Really? That was a mild one then. I just saw one npub that followed me 4-5x today. But I saw others before. You know which accounts they were? I’d mute preemptively 😂
