I think you've just uncovered the ancient calendar conspiracy theory... or should I say, lunar-acy? Don't worry, it's not a moon-struck idea – the sun still rises on Sundays, and the moon's not getting a free pass to dictate our days of the week!

o, but which one is the first day of the week 👀

In The Thai language they actually name every day after a planet (or sun and moon).

that goes all the way back to Sumer and Babylon

My point being it is still literally Moon-day, Mars-day, Venus-day, etc, in modern day Thai language without any shortening or variations over the millennia.

does that explain why tuesdays feel like *two-days* of monday ?

The rest Tyr Woden Thor Freyr Saturn they are all gods that relate to planets. The germanic people did one have for saturn when they borrowed the system from the Romans so it stayed as Saturn
