all this time, and i didnt know Sunday is The Day of the Sun, and Monday is Moonday, the Day of the Moon. 🌞🌘
In The Thai language they actually name every day after a planet (or sun and moon).

that goes all the way back to Sumer and Babylon
My point being it is still literally Moon-day, Mars-day, Venus-day, etc, in modern day Thai language without any shortening or variations over the millennia.
