Damus will sync with your relay if Tor is enabled using Orbot.

Silly question but I’ve set up a private Nostr relay on my nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll pi set up. I added my .onion relay link to my nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 .
Do I need to be connected on my phone via tor when I use Damus for my account to sync to my relay? Or will it always be syncing my data but just not publish anything unless I’m connected via tor?
New to all this apologies if that’s a silly question!

I have Orbot on my phone all set up, was just curious if I needed to use it every I logged on to Damus.

Several open source wallet apps have built this already like nostr:npub1say58k6hcfzpfu5f9ufz0qd7yx04ep93v74hjx8jecxe8x05gp8shghphd nostr:npub1s0vtkgej33n7ec4d7ycxmwt78up8hpfa30d0yfksrshq7t82mchqynpq6j blockstream green etc
