Exactly. I migrated from Reddit to Bitcoin twitter back in the day, and I’m migrating towards Nostr because the signal is here now.
Even Reddit is really bad now, it's become stagnant the last few cycles.
No real talk or discussion about the technology, no interest in it as a protocol, it's all about pricing, everyone cheering each other for buying bitcoin on CEXs, just begging to get burnt, little to no talk about DEXs and you just might get downvoted for bringing it up.
It's become the echochamber it always feared it would become, with constant back and forth bickering with /r/buttcoin.
Good riddance.
I found Reddit before I heard about Bitcoin. It was amazing, I learned a lot about random interests; permaculture; bushcraft, fermentation, BJJ, random memes. And it seemed to degrade a lot the last few years as I’ve heard. Happy for the good time and good riddance to the rest.
