I want to live in a world...

in which the authorities are deferent to their citizenry and made of them;

one in which the governing fear the governed and continually earn trust instead of demanding blind obedience and monodirectional loyalty;

one in which freedom is a given and violations of it are not tolerated.

I want to live in a world where all governance is voluntary & optional because adults treat each other like adults, & "political authority" is either non-existent or mostly meaningless.
