Think you can block the signature of that event kind with Amber

Yep. Just tried it. Reject the request and remember the choice. That kills it.

Drafts are a meh feature for me. I'd prefer they were local, also.

They already know. :) relays don't need Draft events to reassemble to entire screen you are looking at at any second. The filters alone do that for them. In fact they can easily count how many seconds you looked at every post, in every part of the app. Yes, the draft confirms that you are writing something, but they are encrypted. The metadata they leak is the same metadata filters leak.

But the idea is to select which relays to use draft filters on. You could choose a remote one or nostr:npub1w4uswmv6lu9yel005l3qgheysmr7tk9uvwluddznju3nuxalevvs2d0jr5's citrine running locally. That's the next step of this. :)

I would like to be able to turn it off or at least store a draft only on button press. I don't want to stream data to the relay while typing. This is a no go for me and reminds me of evil social media apps (I say this as a big fan of amethyst).

Btw, I see multiple drafts in threads where I have sent a post. Seems like there are rendering issues with posts that should have "draft" status.

What is drafts were held at only the relay you selected?

Say, your own ?🤔

Even a relay running in your own phone? :)

You see draft and published notes because it's a relay caching or timing issue, as usual.

I'd use my personal relay for my drafts, if I'm given that option.

Do you run a relay on the Desktop or Mobile?

When did nostr get creepy?

Has always been. Most apps are the same. I don't think there is a way to filter data without letting the server know what the filter is.
