Sold something privately and shipped it. Buyer says he hasn’t recieved despite tracking says it was delivered.
I know this can happen but i also know from the way he replies and doesn’t answer my questions, that there is something wrong 😑
Delivery should be verified with code, not with trust …
Does the delivery service have the delivery guy take a picture of the item at the porch? I know Amazon does that, but I'm not sure if that is just done for the recipient.
They say the recipient signed that he got the package.
I now have to deal with them. Took me nearly an hour to request research. And research can take several weeks. Worst case my PayPal will be frozen for weeks if buyer opens a case.
Had begin this year the same experience. Shipped handmade leathergoods for the first time to US. The shitcoiners never paid me and I lost $350 on it.
Haven’t been making and selling stuff because of it. Should start doing it again. Hard lessons learned
This sucks. Especially if it holds you back from doing something you love. 😔
In my case i have good chances to get paid by the shipping company but it fucks me up that someone abuses the system to gain an advantage. He robs all customers because shipping company includes this kind of losses in the pricing. AND it costs my time and their time to deal with this. I just hate dishonest people so much… 😖
