It would be cool if someone came up with a package/plugin/implementation (you guys are smarter than me, what's the appropriate term) for a Nostr-based comment section on webpages.
I suspect it would be a service, with some degree amount of moderation allowed and it would be separate from the greater Nostr ecosystem, probably its own relay, etc..It would be nice to take this npub, and use it it elsewhere on the internet, outside of microblogging

I should look that up. I have a local newspaper and the comment section online is much more important than the actual news, just the same 10 people fighting all the time, mostly for unrelated things.
It would be cool if webpages used Nostr for that. Let Nostr enable that shit show.
Yeah, lantern seems to do this. I've only used it a couple times. Last time was on this link, if you care to test whether or not my page annotation shows up (still never seen someone else's note display so not sure)
