We don’t do anything to the video, we don’t compress it or transcode it, etc.
It might be your client. Are you using Amethyst by any chance?

It’s the upload not download. We serve exactly the encoding you upload. Nothing is done to the video, we have no funds or infra in place to transcode videos 🐶🐾🫡

Wondering if the quality diminishes while extracting this shorter excerpt from a longer video on my phone which was already downloaded at some point from a live video from some other platform. So that's two processings right there. Though it definitely does not look this bad on my phone as it does once it's uploaded to nostr. 🤷🏻♀️
