Monero's weaknesses are why it is compromised:

- timing attacks

- merge analysis

- recency bias

- unencrypted recipients

- unencrypted senders

- amounts only partially encrypted

- all transactions permanent & public

- senders know where they sent their money to

LN is just so much better
