Depends on the website but most websites doesn’t work with strict security

I use “onion browser” but I think the correct way to do it is through “Orbot”. The reason I don’t use Orbot is because i have to regularly switch between my vpn for clearnet and the tor vpn. Gets annoying.

My understanding is that none of the “tor browser” apps are truly tor. The only way to actually access tor on iPhone is through Orbot but it adds a tor vpn to your vpn list. You have to have it turned on and then you use a regular browser like Firefox. Open a new tab and put in an onion address.
