The listening and the interaction don't have to the on the same app. Third party apps will never be as integrated and the os maker app for audio.
um... guess you're iOS? because Android is nothing but 3rd party apps for podcasts (unless YouTube, but frankly that's overkill for what is essentially audio). I'm completely stoked over how nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5 is developing and I don't mind that most of the time it's not live but later replay.
