heres another good one, not bitcoin related but if you’re interested in parsing geopolitics this ones good: https://geopolitical-cousins.captivate.fm and then off course the absolute best one ever: https://darknetdiaries.com
Podcasts for people who think the Bitcoin technology is more interesting than Bitcoin ETFs :-D
if so, maybe this one too: https://bitcoinexplainedpodcast.com/@nado/episodes
sure u know of it, but this ones really good: https://bitcoin.review
id say its none-optional. how else are u going to have un-censorable and un-governable arguments and discussions?
opposite is true: as long as distrust runs deep, unwillingness to compromise is high, we just might be able to not un-intentionally break bitcoin while intentionally fixing it.
Stick to attacking ideas and not people

The most important project on Nostr! Its what makes Nostr scale to a global level without centralization while retaining and increasing in usability. Cant be understated how important this is.
Introducing Following._ — a simple way to create and share follow packs on Nostr!
Finding interesting people to follow has always been one of the biggest challenges for new users on Nostr. Even experienced users often struggle to discover new communities and voices.
Following._ makes it easy to curate lists of users and share them with anyone on the web. Whether you're helping newcomers get started or building a niche community, Following._ allows you to grow connections on Nostr.
You can create your own follow pack in minutes and share it anywhere. Here’s an example:

I spent months complaining that someone should build this... and eventually realized that someone had to be me. So here we are.
I also leaned heavily on AI during the process — it’s never been easier (or more fun) to create apps for open platforms like Nostr. If you have an idea, you really can just build it. No gatekeepers, no permission needed. Just ship it.
Peace

similar thing happens to me when i want to ask for help (not factual information), and first think about how to properly and most accurately pose the question
Together we can stop spam: https://primal.net/e/nevent1qqsfauvjh587mxx8cz4u70jqsp2ser3rtarwsrp249myqudgtfz4x0cxrfwgt
We could create a ”whitelist filter” that is downloaded from trusted peers. If 75% of your trusted peers have blocked notes/users, then this content could, on your client, get the lowest priority or even be put in a ”spam tab/view”. This way we get a ”crowd sourced span filter”. No centralized algo…. little to no spam. This is what #peercuration is all about!
With this new Twenty One (https://xxi.money) announce, I feel things are really starting to heat up. Just the game theory between them and Strategy is crazy. People might call Jack a sellout etc., but it was always going to go this way. And it's better to have actual bitcoiners leading with these products than fiat tradfi guys. This is just part of hyperbitcoinization 🚀 Thoughts nostr:npub1k7vkcxp7qdkly7qzj3dcpw7u3v9lt9cmvcs6s6ln26wrxggh7p7su3c04l nostr:npub1xwmyzp64xx03kw9ecd7fzsj3e9dgwah6an0rdng0cc6ux4dswwjs28pyyc
#money4enemies
i solved this issue (even before nostr existed) when i wrote #treebit In treebit (also a twitter-like clone) peers connects to peers and all communication is encrypted. no central servers at all. basically exactly the same as bitcoin in that way, but no global state. the price to pay (aka no free lunch) is that data propagation is slower (needless to say ”bridge nodes” would solve this, because those would be similar to nostr relays).
their centralized server can be shut down with the stroke of a pen. even open sourcing signal server wont do much good either, because its not built to be decentralized. there are alternatives: https://simplex.chat

Maybe we can all 'live without' private messaging?
Pay attention.
Denmark is set to take over the rotating EU Council presidency.
And is sending signals that they want to go after encryption.
Backdoors end badly.
Demanding backdoors isn't just surest way to chase away innovation...it's collective punishment for security services' own failures to adapt.
And the history of democracies is littered with states abusing secret surveillance powers to undermine core values.

Signal is not fully open source and thus impossible to decentralize. Hence there is a single entity to attack. Why not use keet instead.
