bamboo isn't much better from an environmental standpoint either considering how much chemical processing it takes to breakdown the bamboo material into pulp to be used in viscose processing.
As I try to build a more environmentally conscious wardrobe, I am convinced that I need to move away from cotton (it's used tons of water) but I love all those pretty cotton jersey prints. Oh, there's a company out there printing on bamboo jersey, you say?
