Is there any way to share a link to a post with a preview in a similar fashion as Instagram does?
I believe this could spark massive adoption.

I use njump.me to share posts. That website will usually give you that rich preview, but sometimes not. I think it has to do with how new it is or if there needs to be some caching done.
When you click "share" or #Amethyst, it usually gives an njump.me url by default.
