As an American, I agree. But hey, I’ve traveled and lived outside the #USA
Recognition of this as a privilege not everyone has had. Then again many have this false belief of “American exceptionalism” that blew my mind even as a child.

where else are god-given rights so embedded into the formational contracts of a government at its inception?
The United States is anything but United. We live in a divided country which was pushed to benefit the top 1% worldwide.
99% bleed for 1% greed
We’re a young country throwing a fit on the world stage. It was always expected in my lifetime. World has been in constant wars the last 50 years. As the world gets smaller, the wars would get more targeted.
Brainwashing others etc. When the 99% realizes this and bands together then everything can change. However so many are so dosed on their own ego, this has taken longer than I expected. It is what it is.
the 99% are always there, standing around, jaws agape.
the majority will always be this way. its just a symbol that points toward the order of the heavens.
narrow is the gate and few are they so on and so forth...

one day, enjoying himself, hiking the mountains and exploring wherever his fancy took him - as was his way in the fire and gloriously selfless self-centeredness of his youth - he came across a gate, guarded by an Old Wise Man.
without hesitation, The Elder opened the gate, revealing a stairway that climbed and wandered gradually before disappearing 'round the outcrop. He motioned for the Seeker to enter.
"What's up there?" your boy asked.
"Everything you have been looking for", gleamed The Guardian. "Up that stairwell lies the world you dreamed of, where there is meaning and purpose, trajectory, beauty and song. the architecture curved. the women - demure, elegant and confidently deferrent."
"rivers flow, of maple and honey. life up there is an endless synchronicity that only serves to catapult you upward, home, to God and the apex of ultimacy - Total Completion...well, you get the point!" he chuckled.
The boy was speechless. The stairway seemed to reach out to him. His head spun around with the ecstacy of a slow motion revelation.
He had one thought: "I must show someone this!"
He ran back down the mountain and told his townsfolk all about the gate, The Man, and the promise of Wonder. And, ultimately, about the great reunion with God that the stairway leads to.
But no one believed him.
Disappointed, Our Guy finally realized the hopelessness of his endeavor and resolved to go back to the gate and walk through it himself.
After some time, he arrived again at the gate. There stood the Old Man, as if he had been waiting a thousand years for this moment.
As the Hero approached the threshold the Master stepped in and blocked his path.
"What!?" said the boy, a bit startled. "You told me that beyond the gate lay the beauty, truth and wonder of creation, that it was the fount of synchronicity, all of that" said the younger one.
"That IS what is beyond the gate" , said the Codger, "but that gate was only meant for you, and only meant for that time - it wasnt for anyone else to see or partake of."
"it was opened for you and you alone, and now it is closed" he thundered, as he stepped backward, onto the other side of that gate and slammed it shut, with a painful and echoing crash.
birds wept.
and all the blue and red ones turned black.
